Settling In Services
Getting the practical aspects of settlement in place is crucial for employees to quickly function in their new role. We assist employers in ensuring that employees and their families get everything in place.
Our services include:
- Local registration
We assist with registration in the National Population Register so that employees and family members receive a Norwegian birth number or D number. - Tax card
We follow up the application process for tax cards with the Norwegian Tax Administration. - ID check
We assist with the statutory ID check for foreigners at the Norwegian Tax Administration. - Mail registration
Once registration is complete and a birth number or D number has been assigned, we help with address changes and mail registration so that mail is delivered to the correct address. - Bank account
We help employees and their families set up Norwegian bank accounts. - Health and GP
We provide guidance on registering with a GP and ensure access to healthcare services in line with individual needs. - Moving in and out
We assist with moving in and out, check that the property is in the agreed condition, and can prepare a condition and safety report at the start and end of the tenancy. We also follow up with the landlord or real estate agent during the inspection to ensure that the inventory list is correct, prevent disputes, and ensure the return of the security deposit. In addition, we provide information about insurance for household goods and personal belongings. - Connection of electricity and services
If electricity, internet, TV, or telephone are not included in the rent, we will arrange for the necessary subscriptions to be ordered and activated. - Driver’s license
We provide advice on Norwegian rules for driver’s licenses and assist with applications for replacement or new driver’s licenses. If necessary, we also put employees in touch with approved driving schools. - Tuberculosis screening
For citizens from certain countries, we accompany employees and their families to the mandatory tuberculosis screening. - Child benefit and family benefits
We advise employers and employees on relevant support schemes and assist with applications for child benefit and other family benefits.
